Free Cancellation Window

If your trip starts and/or ends in the United States, you have a free cancelation window of 24 hours after purchase as long as the reservation was made at least one week before the scheduled departure.

The U.S. Department of Transportation put forth a consumer protection measure that requires carriers to hold a reservation at the quoted fare for 24 hours without payment or allow a reservation to be cancelled within 24 hours without penalty (the “24-hour reservation requirement”). This rule applies to all reservations made seven days or more prior to the flight’s scheduled departure time.
