Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! To ensure you see all available student fares, be sure to create an account and verify your student status.
ScholarTrip has partnered with more than 50 of the world’s premier airlines in order to offer you some of the best pricing you can find exclusively intended for college students, youth and college faculty. In return, our airline partners impose school attendance and age requirements in order for you to qualify for their special pricing; these requirements are not the same for each airline.
Offering these special deals online make it easy for you to get verified as an eligible passenger and make your booking. Our list of airline partners includes Aer Lingus, Air Canada, Air China, Air New Zealand, Alaska Airlines, Alitalia, All Nippon Airways, American Airlines, Austrian Airlines, British Airways, Brussels Airlines, Cathay Pacific Airlines, China Southern Airlines, Copa Airlines, Emirates Airlines, EVA Air, Fiji Airways, Hawaiian Airlines, Iberia Airlines, Icelandair, Japan Airlines, LATAM Airlines, LOT Polish, Lufthansa, Qantas, Singapore Airlines, Swiss Air Lines, TAP Air Portugal, Turkish Airlines, United Airlines, Virgin Atlantic, WestJet and many, many more!
Many of our student fares come with additional flexibility, but some airlines have fares that don’t allow any changes. Be sure to read the fare rules before buying any ticket, and avoid Basic Economy fares if there is any chance you may need to change your ticket after purchase.
College and university students aged 16 and above are eligible to purchase a ticket from ScholarTrip. Additionally, some of our fares are available for purchase by youths (those ages 16-25, in most cases, but not attending a college or university) and college faculty (those teaching classes).
To see what product you’re eligible for, come to our website and set up your account. If we require any additional information or documentation from you, we’ll let you know at the time of ticket purchase.
