Important Considerations Prior to Purchasing Your Flight:

  • Double-check your arrival and departure dates, as well as your cities, to ensure you are arriving and leaving your intended destinations on the correct dates. This is particularly important when booking long haul flights.
  • It is recommended that you arrive at the airport at least 3 hours prior to international travel. Be sure to factor this buffer time into your overall itinerary planning.
  • Review all the rules and regulations—including baggage policies and change fees—that apply to your specific ticket prior to purchase.
  • Give yourself plenty of layover time between flight segments; aim for at least one hour for domestic and two hours for international flights. Since flight delays happen, plan as if they will occur to minimize travel disruptions.
  • Make sure your government-issued ID or passport is valid for your entire trip and check the specific visa requirements for both your destination and any points of transit.
