What is a boarding pass?

A boarding pass is a document issued for each passenger confirming they have been checked in and are allowed to board the aircraft.

Boarding passes are issued at check-in.

When online check-in is available you will be able to obtain your boarding pass before going to the airport. Please, remember to print your boarding pass! (Even if your carrier supports paperless boarding passes, the departure airport may or may not be properly equipped to process them.) When online check-in is not available, please bring a printout of your e-ticket to the airport so a boarding pass may be issued to you before departure.
