As many countries have specific rules regarding passports, it is important that you verify the requirements for each country you plan to visit. Typical requirements include having a passport valid for six (6) months past the last day of your journey, and/or needing completely blank passport book pages for stamps or visas. If your passport does not meet the requirements of your destination, you may be denied boarding and lose the value of your flight ticket.
-
Do I need a visa for my international trip? Visa requirements vary depending on the destination country and the nationality of the passport you hold. It is critical that you confirm foreign entry requirements for every country you plan to visit, including those that you will pass through just in transit. Contact the local embassy or consulate of your destination country. Please be aware that it is your responsibility to determine if a visa is needed, plus obtaining and paying for visas if required.
